ABOUT THIS QUIZ
Using character profile analyses as the comparison points
This quiz interprets JoJo's Bizarre Adventure characters across seven personality dimensions drawn from their actions and dialogue, then compares those profiles with your answers.
How the JoJo character quiz works
The questions explore choices rather than combat strength: holding to a principle at a cost, breaking convention to get through a crisis, or asking someone close for help. These priorities form the basis of the character comparison.
Answers to four-option questions are converted to a 0–100 scale across seven axes: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, emotional sensitivity, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance.
No knowledge of the series is needed: all 14 questions use everyday situations. Your seven-dimensional profile is compared with 12 character profiles interpreted from the story. The calculation combines distances across all seven dimensions, so being quiet alone will not make you Jotaro. Results show your top three matches and a chart of the overlap.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and attachment styles
This quiz uses attachment as one lens for characters who begin their journeys with unresolved family relationships. Faced with similar absences, some protect themselves through principles and others through distance. It is one interpretation of the story.
In this reading, withholding feelings and keeping distance can suggest avoidance. Some characters struggle to speak even to loved ones because they anticipate the consequences of opening up. Quietness alone, however, does not establish an attachment style.
Some characters seek security in a clear hierarchy. This quiz reads their desire for control as anxiety about equality and uncertainty, without treating that explanation as universal or as a justification for dominating others.

How attachment patterns can appear in relationships
The four patterns used here can offer one perspective on dating and close relationships. These articles explore the ideas further; a type cannot predict everything an individual will do.
How We Interpreted Three Representative Characters
The following three examples explain which scenes and traits inform this site's attachment interpretations. Your answers are compared with those same character profiles.
Jonathan Joestar Secure
Jonathan holds to his principles even at a cost and can show compassion toward an enemy. This quiz reads that steadiness as an image of secure attachment, without suggesting that secure people never waver or must forgive harm.
Jotaro Kujo Avoidant
Jotaro often shows concern for his mother through actions rather than words. This quiz reads reluctance to express feelings as an avoidant tendency, without equating silence with indifference or assuming all avoidant people behave alike.
DIO Fearful-avoidant
After a childhood marked by poverty and violence, DIO pursues domination. This quiz interprets fear of trust and equality within his story; his violence is not a typical or inevitable outcome of any attachment style.

How to Interpret Your Result
The match percentage is this site's measure of how close your answers are to its interpretation of a character's personality profile. It is not an official story setting, MBTI certification, or medical diagnosis. Protagonists receive no bonus, so an antagonist may be your closest match.
There is no bonus for being a protagonist: rankings depend on distance across the seven dimensions. An antagonist may rank first. That compares selected traits, not your morality or approval of the character's actions.

FAQ
How is "your Stand" chosen?
The quiz scores six Stands using your seven personality dimensions: Star Platinum represents decisive action up close, The World moving at your own pace, Killer Queen seeking quiet, Gold Experience creating, Stone Free loosening constraints and reconnecting, and Heaven's Door observing and reading others. This calculation is separate from character matching, so a Bucciarati match can receive Killer Queen. The Stands come from the series; these personality associations are this site's interpretation, not official lore.
Is the JoJo character quiz free?
All 14 questions are free, with no registration or email address required. Results show your top three character matches, a personality radar chart, and the line you hold firm.
Is this an official quiz?
No. This site is not affiliated with the rights holders. This is an unofficial fan quiz based on portrayals in the story. Character MBTI and attachment labels are our interpretations, not official classifications or psychological assessments.
How is "the line you hold firm" chosen?
Five interpretations are scored from the seven personality dimensions: Pride for principles held at a cost, Survival for resourcefulness under pressure, Quiet for reducing disturbance, Resolve for following through, and Dominance for preferring clear hierarchies. The highest score becomes your result. These categories were created for this quiz.
Can I take it without knowing the original story?
Yes. The questions use everyday situations and do not require knowledge of the title or characters.
