ABOUT THIS QUIZ

Using character profile analyses as the comparison points

This quiz compares your answers with the profiles used in our 11 character entries to find your closest match.

How the Re:ZERO Quiz Works

The questions explore setbacks, waiting and asking for help rather than judging willpower. These choices compare how you and the characters handle situations and connect with others.

Answers to four-option questions are converted to a 0–100 scale across seven axes: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, emotional sensitivity, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance.

No knowledge of the series is needed: every question uses an everyday situation. Your seven-axis profile from 14 answers is compared with editorial estimates for 11 characters. All seven axes contribute to the distance, so one trait alone does not make you Subaru. Results show the top three and charts of similarities and differences.

Re:ZERO and Attachment Styles

The story's repeated attempts offer a metaphor for replaying a difficult interaction in your mind. This quiz uses that perspective to reflect on characters and your own reactions. That experience alone does not establish an attachment style.

Fear of loss can prompt either pursuit or withdrawal. The characters' different responses invite reflection: are your efforts and distance helping both people, or mainly helping you endure uncertainty?

Turning points in the story combine supportive companions with the characters' own new choices. Support, communication and asking for help create possibilities for a different relationship. No single person has to carry all responsibility for saving another.

How attachment patterns can appear in relationships

The four patterns used here can offer one perspective on dating and close relationships. These articles explore the ideas further; a type cannot predict everything an individual will do.

How We Interpreted Three Representative Characters

These three Re:ZERO examples explain how this quiz interprets attachment tendencies from scenes in the story. Your answers use the same seven-axis comparison framework. The classifications are this site's interpretation, not official character settings.

Subaru Natsuki Fearful-avoidant

He wants to help yet fears that getting closer will bring rejection. This reading explores how anticipated loss can make care feel urgent, without treating awkward efforts as weakness.

Rem Anxious

She looks for reassurance in being needed. Care is a strength, but interpreting a lack of response as proof that she has not done enough can become exhausting. That is the focus of the anxious reading here.

Ram Avoidant

She handles what needs doing while keeping vulnerability private. This reading sees distance as one way of maintaining connection, rather than an absence of feeling.

How to Interpret Your Result

The match percentage is this site's measure of how close your answers are to its interpretation of a character's personality profile. It is not an official story setting, MBTI certification, or medical diagnosis. Protagonists receive no bonus, so an antagonist may be your closest match.

There is no protagonist bonus: all seven axes determine distance, so a household member or antagonist can rank first. A match reflects tendencies within this quiz, not a judgment of your moral character.
