ABOUT THIS QUIZ
Using character profile analyses as the comparison points
This quiz compares your answers directly with the profiles used in our 13 character entries to find the closest match.
How the Blue Lock Quiz Works
The questions explore standing by a judgment, responding to defeat and asking for help. Everyday choices compare competitive and relational tendencies; they do not measure athletic talent or football skill.
Answers to four-option questions are converted to a 0–100 scale across seven axes: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, emotional sensitivity, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance.
No series knowledge is needed: all questions use everyday situations. Your seven-axis profile from 14 answers is compared with editorial estimates for 13 characters. All axes contribute, so competitiveness alone does not make you Barou. Results show the top three and similarities and differences across the axes.
Blue Lock and Attachment Styles
Being selected, proving oneself and finding partners recur throughout the story. Some characters seek recognition openly; others prefer to let results speak. This quiz uses attachment concepts to reflect on those interactions while allowing for different motives.
Feeling not good enough can motivate practice and make self-recognition difficult. The focus here is the relationship between motivation and self-evaluation. Effort or competitiveness alone does not establish an attachment style.
Letting results replace expression may protect against disappointment, or reflect a habit or situational choice. Understanding a character's distance means considering responses to companions, not just a calm exterior.

How attachment patterns can appear in relationships
The four patterns used here can offer one perspective on dating and close relationships. These articles explore the ideas further; a type cannot predict everything an individual will do.
How We Interpreted Three Representative Characters
These three Blue Lock examples explain this site's interpretation of attachment tendencies from the story. Your answers use the same seven-axis framework. Character classifications are not official settings.
Yoichi Isagi Anxious
The thought 'I can do better' keeps him moving. It can fuel growth while making recognition feel insufficient. Noticing what has already been achieved can create more room to pursue the next goal.
Rin Itoshi Fearful-avoidant
Admiration for his brother and conflict with him both shape his competitiveness. Beneath strict discipline lies tension between wanting understanding and fearing another disappointment.
Seishiro Nagi Avoidant
He tends to avoid hassle yet becomes deeply engaged when something interests him. This reading focuses on how he manages involvement and gradually expresses choices of his own.

How to Interpret Your Result
The match percentage compares your answers with this site's estimated character profiles. It is not an official character setting, an official MBTI assessment or a medical diagnosis. There is no protagonist bonus, so a rival can rank first.
All seven axes determine the match, so a rival or coach can rank first. That reflects tendencies within this quiz, not a judgment that you are cold or an endorsement of everything the character does.

FAQ
How Are the Position and Story Tier Chosen?
Seven-axis answers select a centre forward, second striker, winger, attacking midfielder or wing-back. Four site-defined indicators — initiative, inspiration, practice and recovery — map to five story tiers: First, Second or Third Selection, U-20 Japan and World No. 1 Striker. Body, technique and training environment are not measured, so these results cannot predict sporting performance.
Is the Blue Lock Quiz Free?
All 14 questions are free, with no registration or email needed. Results include your top three characters, a personality radar chart and your scoring style.
Is this an official quiz?
No. This site is not affiliated with the rights holders. This is an unofficial fan quiz based on portrayals in the story. Character MBTI and attachment labels are our interpretations, not official classifications or psychological assessments.
How Is the Scoring Style Chosen?
Seven-axis answers compare five metaphors: Instinct for improvisation, Dominance for directing the situation, Hunger for persistence, Speed for rapid action and Perfect Form for refining a repeatable approach. These are personality metaphors, not football ratings or a promise of equal outcome frequencies.
Can I take it without knowing the original story?
Yes. The questions use everyday situations and do not require knowledge of the title or characters.
